From One Extreme To Another by Suanin From One Extreme To Another by Suanin
"I've been thinking... Everything is... It just comes together. It's me. I chose this. I chose all of this. This rock. This rock has been waiting for me my entire life. In its entire life, ever since it was a bit of meteorite, a million billion years ago, up there in space, it's been waiting... to come here... right - right here. I've been moving towards it my whole life. The minute I was born, every breath I've taken, every action, has been leading me to this crack on the earth's surface."

James Franco as Aron Ralston in the Oscar-nominated movie 127 Hours.

I love it... although that ant really bothers me. Not in the way that it is drawn... but more with the thought... is it going to bite his nose? :)

I absolutely love the skin texture and his eyes. The skin looks very real and dry, while the eyes look very 'wet' (like eyes do ). For some reason I really like that ant there too. Amazing drawing!

And yay for James Franco! :la:

Yeah. Flaky eyes are usually not a sign of good health. :B

There's nothing wrong with focusing on ants. Unless they occupy your mind most of the time. Then it's a bit creepy.
Anyway - I'm glad you like the drawing (and the ant)! Thanks, Dennis! :glomp:

How do you find fan art pictures to draw? I never find a good picture of the scene that I want to draw :)

Thank you! :huggle:
I have a ridiculously simple method, actually. :B I go to Google Images, type in the name of the movie, change the settings from 'all sizes' to 'large', and 9 times out of 10 the results of the search will include quite a few high quality screencaps (you can easily distinguish them from the regular movie stills and posters that you see all over the net). I then go to the main websites (mostly download sites that want to boast about the superb quality of their products by posting a few screencaps of the movie) and select the screencaps I want to draw. Easy as that! :D
If you want, I could help you look - just give me an idea of what you have in mind. :aww:

Thank you so much :) Great method, found a lot of good pictures very fast  Unfortunatly is the picture I'm looking for not a typical picture of the movie. Haven't looked that much for it, but I will later when I have more time. It's a picure from the movie Gladiator, of the wooden figuers of his son and wife. Pretty hard to find ;P
